Bill Nolan, LMFT.   Bill has over twenty years of experience working with individuals, couples and families addressing a variety of counseling issues.  Upon completion of his Masterís degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Houston at Clear Lake in 1991, Bill moved with his family to Lexington, Kentucky.

Over the past several years, he has focused his work on helping clients deal with problems related to addictions and recovery. He has served as the director for an Intensive Outpatient Program during the past ten years. In addition he is certified by the state of Kentucky as an assessor for alcohol and substance abuse offenders. He is also an approved chemical dependency evaluator by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

Bill works with individuals struggling with addiction as well as family members impacted by their loved ones' addiction. Integrating a brief, solution focus approach with principles from 12 step recovery model, Bill helps clients develop a lifestyle of wellness and recovery from addiction.
In addition to this work, Bill also focuses on helping people deal with spiritual issues. His training and experience in ministry has led him to develop a passion for helping people who at times have been spiritually wounded.

Bill also provides workshops and trainings for organizations seeking help dealing with alcohol and substance abuse in the workplace.

He is also a certified instructor of the Prime for Life program. The Prime for Life program is a high quality prevention program helping people better understand how problems such as alcoholism can happen to anyone and how to prevent this problem from happening to them..
